Little Traverse Bay Region. See kindred description. Rimmer writes as follows: Petroglyphs. Follow down Bear Creek from the R.R. bridge to the Ledge, One mile west of Bear creek on the ledge are outcrops interrupted by the drift. Several other outcrops are cut with in the next two or three miles. 3 miles east of the dock at Charlevoix are fossils. The last of the Hamilton is found near Norwood. Here are the highest beds of the section.
