Erosion very rapid and mud Hood material in the valley marks, In the region of Santa Maria we are in the mainmont spys and at Garcia they again widen out here here about 3 miles across. At Santa Catarina volcanoes all of lava flows are deeply directed trying to appear an entrance to some distance beyond Monterey. There are a number of these isolated offcars all showing the flows one after another down
