The dips of the Cretaceus here is usually
low from 10 to 20 degrees, but in places rises
of to near vertical, at least up to 60 degrees.

In the region of Santa Maria we are in the
mainmont spys and at Garcia they again
widen out here here about 3 miles across.
At Santa Catarina volcanoes all of lava
flows are deeply directed trying to appear an
entrance to some distance beyond Monterey.

all showing the flows one after another down
