Upper 3' with brownish stain. Coaly partings in lower 3' Claron 18'6" 20'2" 1'8" Light gray medium grained micaceous sandstone coaly partings & minor shaley streaks. 20'2" 22'1" 1'11" Coaly black shale, sandy. Claron Shale 22'1" 23'2" 1'1" Gray shaley clay, some and A coal plant impressions. 23'2" 24'6" 1'4" Coal 24'6" 24'9" 3" Gray carbonaceous sandstone coaly & clayey streaks. 24'9" 30' 5'3" Light gray medium, locally fine grained, sandstone, micaceous, scattered coaly streaks. 30' 43'4" 13'4" Alternating gray med. to fine grained sandstone and sandy to shaley gray siltstone, latter often shows bands & laminae of light gray sandstone. From 40-5 to 43'4" siltstone out except where large inclusions present in medium grained siltstone with coaly streaks. Homewood 43'4" 50'5" 7'1" Gray medium grained sandstone, coaly streaks and partings locally with shale inclusions.
