Depth 90' From To Th. 0 20'2" 20'2" Medium to fine grained white micaceous sandstone, locally stained light brown some thin clayey partings & streaks in basal 1 foot Clarion S.S. 20'2" 20'10" 9" Soft light brown to brown gray silt. 20'10" 21'8" 10" Black silty clay with brown mottling in upper part, grades downward into black semiplastic clay with coaly streaks Clarion Shale ? 21'8" 22'3" 7" Coaly silty shale, squally shale and fine grained sandstone - whole micaceou 22'3" 23'6" 15" Fine grained gray carbonaceous sandstone grading down- ward into lighter, more silty sandstone with brown stained plant frag- ments. 23'6 25'2" 20" Hard sandy siltstone, light gray with brown stained plant fragments. Zones of soft siltstone 6"-11" and Homewood S.S. [core loss prob in 20'10 to 21'8 int.] 16"-20" 26'6" 44'10" 18'4" Alternating beds of (1) micaceous sandy siltstone, light gray with greenish cast, and (2) Dense, fine grained, hard, micaceous gray sandstone with greenish cast.
