Medium to fine grained gray mica- ceous. Carbonaceous streaks, Homewood and partings, some silty layers. Partings generally show large flakes of mica Coal horizon 46'6" 47' 6" Coaly shale and 'slate' 47' 57'3" 10'3" Shale, dark gray silty in upper 9', black clayey shale with plant fragments lower 1'3". shale 57'3" 58'3" 1' Soft gray shale, plant fragments.
