389 Dark to black shale silty + pyritic at top, abnormal plant remains. 390-4 Coal (Lower Bakerstown - lower split) 391-41 Dark gray pyritic claystone 393 Claystone with limestone inclusions grading to argillaceous limestone 396\n Argillaceous limestone, dense, hard, dark gray 403-3 Siliceous, pyritic claystone grading to siliceous clay, limestone pellets throughout. 408-6 Silty to siliceous pyritic claystone. 4113 Irregularly banded clay shale with yellow- weathering iron stringers (roughly 11 bedding). sandy at base. 4118 Silty to clean sea-green gray clay. (Sample 413-416-6 423-4 Mottled red and green sea-green clay and claystone, zone Dictyoto(?) pellets (.25mm av.) 432 Fine sandstone and sandy siltstone. 441-10 Green silty shale, lower 3' gray, clayey. Small zones siderite (?) pellets (.25 mm) 449-10 Calcareous shale, locally silty to finely sandy. Fossil fragments at base 462-4 Dark gray to black shale, scattered fossils, small limy concretions. (Lower 2' plant remains, shale pyritic, no fossils) 463-2 Coal (Brush Cr. rider) 473-6 Fine to medium sandstone, dark + argillaceous upper 2 feet. interbedded siltstones near base. 505 Gray interbedded siltstone and fine sandstone grading to dark silty shale and shaly siltstone. Plant remains throughout. 518 Dark gray to black shale, pyritic, with small calcareous concretions. Fossiliferous. (Lower 2' carries lingules only, marine above.) 519 Coal (Brush Cr. 520-6 Carbonaceous, silty, pyritic claystone 527-6 Light gray claystone, limestone zone + inclusions 37
