(Clays 596 to 597-9 596 & 596-10 - Dark gray ironey (red? cone) yellow claystone grading to pyritic light gray silicious frequental hard clay. 596-10 to 598-5 - Fragmental gray flint clay silicious in upper 6" slighter silicious thrust with local pyritic zones (GC 181) - Top of seam, (GC 182) center seam. (Analysis # 28) 596-5 to 599-9 - Subplastic to soapy semihard green-gray clay locally pyritic. Zone To Cone. at top. (Not inc in sample.) (GC 183 - semihard near base) (Analysis # 29) 616 To 617-5 Shaly, soopy, gray semihard with 2"± of sandflint at base. (GC 184 = basal 3" of this seam) 641-6 to 645 - Semihard fragmental clay - (GC 185 - Top 7 of upper 2', remainder, (GC 186 - Base silicious with ironstone.)
