Diamond drill and test pit logs & map furnished by Max Mathias - see file on U.M.Co. 67 - also shows coal crop in gulley. 68. 5. Outcrop and coal prospect on Harlem coal. Crop in gulley shows overlying fossiliferous shale, coal and underlying peds. (Qs.-39-McKinley Beach Prospect) 69 Outcrop of coal behind barn. Presumably same as that in mine and road bed. Barton? 70 Coal smut in road gutter. This is trace of Upper Freeport coal. 71 Red beds. Mahoning, - lie between Freeport & Brush Creek. 72 Old openings in Upper Freeport. exact location of one nearest barn not known.
