Opening (old, caved, seems to have been double) in Harlem coal. Fossils plentiful on dump. (Sam Hares mine, # 44 of Q.S.) 37. Two swampy, heavily stained seeps probably representing Upper + Lower Bakerstown coals. 38. Old opening in one of Bakerstowns, according to Harry Miller it resembles 'slate vein' in dump material. (It must be close to #26 of Q.S.) If 26 of QS it is lower Bakers-town. 39. Old opening in the Brush Creek coal. Fossils on dump.
