Seepage and swampy area across old
logging road. A drainage ditch
exposes gray white plastic clay.
Probably cropping from below coal,
is non-candy & shows no contamination.
No flint clay in float but 1 piece
mahogany flint about 2" long found in
roots of overturned tree alongside
drainage ditch. This is about where
Mt Savage horizon should come on Mt.
45.
Stone House - Little Meadows old logging
road. On seepages most the way to
end at sawdust pile. Quite likely
on same seam all the way and
it is probably the upper Kitchenny.
