Heading was S 70° E. 49 S One working (summer 1948) and several abandoned openings in Lower Bakers-town coal 50. Abandoned and caved mine in Lower Bakerstown, John Bertzel property. Heading N 70° E. 51. Old coal prospect, filled in & plowed under. 18" coal reported. Probably Brush Creek.
