August 3 - 1921. Wednesday.
One of the finest of sunny mornings and at 11:15 A.M. are off for Rutland, Vt. Left Greenfield (2 miles) at 11:40 and got to Petetbro (7 1/2 miles) at noon. A few miles further and one more point where had a juncture. This we had agained at Burlin 3 times and it was 3 P.M. when we started again. All the rest were. Got to Keene, N.H. at 3:40 P.M., Walpole at 5 P.M. and Ludlowe at 7 P.M. where we are staying over night.
