July 26 1921. Tuesday
Boston Mass.
Finished today picking out a duplicate
set of Bithemian brachipods out of the
Johary Collection. I have picked out
about 200 species, and Barrande has
described about 600 forms. In the end I
doubt if B. has as many as 500 forms.
When the Johary collection is wholly labeled,
there maybe 300 and not more than
350 forms. The
great majority of species are in E2 and
especially in F2. Then in D, next C,
F1 and least in H.
What I have will make a few exceptions
illustrate all the genera. I can now
Steptoi or Paterula.
