Diatoms.
1558 Orthocenta heeli. This is just
the same species as the I. bipartita.
1552 Hederella. This should be looked into
1576-7 Orthothela here marked Orthodata
bipartita.
1557 A small globula Farrisii meets
or ident with the coralline of
1557 This is a small slit marked Diatomea and
has Pi lamellosa. I. oncidestr. The former
in great abundance.
The Diatomaceous fossils as here shown
are not stratigraphically the separator from the
corallines. The latter is not the Ordovician but
is clearly the last horizon in the Mid. Lown
Permian.
The Upper Permian collection is
fair and better than the Ord. solely,
howerer it is not what it should be to
be fair representative collection.
