them and irregular reddish flint
limestone. Here I found Lep. Flotellus
and in none of the collections have
I seen the Leptellus on the large
Pissolania which leads one to believe
that are of the Kingston where about
at the Oriskany (the Hacklied and are
above I now refer as Oriskany) appears
directly on the Delthys shale.
I believe the P.P. watch beds all seem
to be one continuous series. The highest
beds remind much of New York in the
typical Pissolania, Farro's helen hyus
and abundance of Stromatopora. The
entire series is unbroken and 161"5" from
the top is a thick zone made up for
a few inches of small shells like
Pentamerus galeatus. Just above these
