Days Corners Section of Coegmans. Onondaga li, with much chert, free coals and loose crinoid stems. About 10 feet to top of hill. Conical slope to large quarry. About 15 feet. Heavy bedded dark blue li, partly bedded towards the top. P. falcatus leading spiral in upper 15 feet. About 30 feet. Grey heavy bedded brittle dolomite, about tanner of phils About 5 ft. Thin even bedded greyish shaly li. About tanner of foots. About 5 ft. Thin bedded brittle blue li 6 ft. Merrimacium gms 6 inches. More or less heavy bedded li, with thin beds all of a dark blue li. About 20 feet. In the afternoon got some material from the Wheelock quarry and packed up. Left Maxwells house at 4 P M.
