the way top is a Stromatiform zone about 30 miles thick almost completely made of these corals, I should judge the zone to be about 5 to 10 feet deeper than the Stromatium quarry. Stephen still comes in the zone with P. foliatus. These higher beds maybe 20 or more feet thick. Sep. 15th Sun day. Spent the morning at Cedarville, where are collected on the higher (P.foliata bed). Cragmore's Fossils rather scarce. In the afternoon collected along the stone walls on the Wheelock farm. Found a Lepidocrenus. Animal rosettes and a fine Tentaculite slab.
