This section brings out prominently one fact i.e. that there is another stratum some ftm just above the lowest cystid given in the Middle Marlus. Harkley says a similar bed occurs at the D.B.B., only less prominently. Another point is that the crustoid bed of the D.B.B. (=Lower Marliis) is decidedly a solid limestone bed and more prominent than the one above the Pentamys beds at D.B.B.(=Mid. Marlus) The large Lepiditha must have come from some hole although found in the dung of the cystoid bed. Spent the afternoon in the Corijane with quarry, It is in the loft of the Upper Pentamerus beds and up into the Macro- plana beds.
