June 14-1901 Friday.
Drift Hartly started out for the Devils Back Bone. After one were
thus about one hours it began to rain
and left it up for the day.
I first corrected my section and then
collected points marking them according
to the zones. Jarstad was leaving
for the 2nd of June Camas Springs.
Hartley called my attention to bed
14 with its criminal layer of 5 feet thick-
ess. It is apparently this bed (14) that
is the equivalent of the Ryegum cysted
one and not bed 12 as formerly
supposed. It may also have been
the lower cysted one seen yesterday
at Pint on the Birchbutter road.
Hartley will allow me to pick out
the desired material out of his collection.
