"Sep. 30-1900 S.H. D.B Bagnall 2 miles" In Muller's quarry there is a face of Tentaclite limestone of about 75 feet. Near the top occurs Tentacula synecanthus and Byrichia. These beds are formed in Cement. Below the cement or Tentaculite li. it shows at least 50 feet of thin beds supporting the "Batalus". Over a little valley once Batalus is shown. The dip is here about 35°. The distance is about 218.3 ft. Then fully three hundred gard farther to the red Plats. = 737 ft. From Mullens quarry (top) to top of limestone there is at least 300 feet where the Ordway Echin li. here a sheet. The dip here is fast, about 35° and the line needles also about 487 ft. The Tremaman come in about 30 feet below the top of the "Batalus" here. Tentacula m. dubia gem. Ordway Chet. Byrichian lian Am. state gem. Cave.
