On the dumps collected ammonia fossils from various horizons but in the area for the Middle Cretaceous gone, the horizon with Tectona- lits gyrocanthus. Reeds measured the beds in the quarry and found the shale gone beneath the Lower Orestay 16 feet thick or 27 feet less than at 2/3 Bridge. The cherty limestones with macropleura are 17' 6" thick, the upper then feet being transitional in that they are then limestone separated by shale. The higher shales are clenny pure limestones. There seems therefore to be form for eroded out here more than or 21/3 Bridge. The macropleura cherty limestones contain many round into others than cherty limestones but these have
