Packed our collections (four boxes) and with
the one shipped here from Martinsburg have 5
to go to Chm. Haren.
Left Gordons at 10 P.M. to get. Queen
City Hotel so that are may get up at 4.30 A.M.
without disturbing them.

July 26 Friday, To Cincinnati:
Started away in a train for Cincinnati on
the 5.12 A.M.
At Clarkstown & Va one mile out of the Ohio
and we have the hilly country of the upper Ohio
drainage. The strata appear horizontal and
we are in the oil and gas regions.
Arrived at Cincinnati about 6 o'clock.
July 27- 28, Cincinnati. [Jul 27]
With my folks. Saturday with Reds in the
morning at the Ludlow iron quarries. In the afternoon
on the hill tops about Cincinnati University.
