Brook Bros quarry.
At the top of the quarry at the edge of the farm field
one sees the quartz conglomerate of 12 to 14 inches.
Higher are cherts said by the Penn. Geologist to be 4 feet
thick including the conglomerate.
Underneath the conglomerate fine granular dark grey li
with a few sparse Meristellus and fine Lepiditites atta
in the upper one foot. Total thickness of this limestone about
