Drills Creek, Cumberland,
Above the leary bedded Tuscarora there
is a transition zone then sandstone and some shale, gradually joining into the Clinton, I see no hesheeu.
Partly 50 feet above this appears the first Amphibian Homophenia, Physichia lata, Callis late and Oltvednia?
Higher up they occur often but always in the arenacum bi.
The Clinton shale series is quite thick and extends across the small stream valley going into Drills Creek. Which has a detailed section.
A 6 fat rim ore bed (ferrymium ox.) occurs partly 100 feet on or above the Tuscarora.
Called on Mrs P. H. Gordon but failed to see her.
Packet a box before ten P.M. and had it delivered to the Express Office. Left an addressed envelope to send receipt, until the hotel boy.
The Rochester part of the Diogaran is here then and about as at Pints.
The Red Juniate beneath the Tuscarora in this gap shows considerable current action, in places saw channeling 4 feet deep and 10 in length.
