In the quarry on the other side of the B[ley] [illegible] we sees the Marlius-Cogmans contact. Below is a strealed (yellow) yellowish dore above long bridded li ard on top is the dark grey granular long bridded Cogman and only zones. On this contact we see small channels in the lower beds filled with the Cogman material. There is here about 40 feet of Cogmans to be seen. Cogmans Hue py granular Marlius dore clink Contact. solution channels 3 to 5 miles deep. On the other side of the road the solution holes are of to 12 miles deep. Said good bye to [illegible] and Kirk at 4 P.M. They got to Park Jervis and Home. The trip has been a very profitable one as I have learned much. Left Kingston at 5.20, Decham 7.45, Big 9.30 New Haven 11.30.
