My first sample of the metam. vein came from 2 miles north of Freedom. It's a little peain. The second sample is a mica schist, at Montville. Between the two veins comes a quartz schist. Mills Hog Back Int. Hitchcock called them Hurmian. These sandstones Hitchcock called Taonic. These slates are thin-bedded li. Perkins thinks are of Paleozoic age, and Raymond's thinks they maybe of Cret. age.
