The old trail locality of Sidney is on the south side of the Cannibeen river about opposite the tin mine near Mt. Parrott's. Trail localit[ies]: Primalor is to the north of Botarville. The R.R. cut near Benton in the cany mouth lies far tracks. To the southeast of the Pentstock occurs the Rockland formation. It underlies the granite and has a great thick engl. series with foldings as high as a pile. And a quartz- ite series. The granita appears to be as much metamorphosed as the Pen- horne series, The granite further east and thought to be of cambria age are not metamorphosed.
