On wheeling my large suite case found a large corner completely torn away leaving of the wire orth lining. Called the attention of the baggage master that and he gave me a slip to get sent at the Tucson depot office, he had me write on my address as follows: Professor Charles Churchett, Yale University New Haven, Conn. The case was in good order at Austin when wheeled it; accordingly it was done from Austin to San Antonio, or the transfer in San Antonio, or on the S.P.R.R. from San Antonio to Tucson. The ticket got hand in my complaint and said he railway to damages^ would write me to my home address. He ad- died when I buy a new case to take a receipt for it and to send it to the company's office. Just ready to leave Tucson and at (20 mins later) 7.45 be harn in off for San Diego and Los Angeles. Have a lawn sleeper, go via Canto, Calexico, El Centro to San diego.
