Then back to Bonito when we left the ex- pedition. Then on direct to San Angelo when we arrived at 5:30 P.M. Was put in a room with two beds, sharing Mr Johnson who has a quarry somewhere. The day was aimless, dirty and unsa- tisfactory. San Angelo - Austin Jan 10. Monday. It was 9 A.M. before we started for Brady, 80 miles N.E of San Angelo. We arrived at 11:45. Riding in the front seat of the car was much better toing than yesterday. Between these places the country is almost a continuous table; it is one of the best flat lands commuting to Brady but the land is undulating 30 miles. Left Brady at 12:30 to get to Mason. Coming within 2 miles of the San Saba river came upon them huddled material that burned out to be the Delburno - Jeff- Cantonia, New many white fragments and Billingsville Alexander. Five cliffs along San Saba river.
