At Burnet had a shore dinner and then by launch to New Meadows where I left back to Portland via Brunswick and Jarmouth. From Jarmouth in the ride is fine all along the shore of the bay. Then on to Cape Cottage = Cape Elizabeth where I had dinner. After Place built by the trolley line, August 20. Portland. Friday It is raining, and for all day. Cleared up in the afternoon. Went to Oak Orchard Beach. Aug. 11. Portland. Saturday Took another trip in Casco Bay. This time to Harpswell Center. Fine day and a beautiful ride in quiet water. Had dinner again at Cape Cottage.
