The Canojharie shale appears to be accoding
and middle
to Ruedemann, equivalent to the lower thirds of the
Trenton as shown at Trenton Falls.
This then will explain the head and thc conglomerate
at the base of the Canajoharie shale (Lee Bull. N.Y.
162:29).
