Then through to the Blue Hills and
returned to Boston.
August 17 - 1920, Middleboro, Mass.
Called on Mrs. Maria L.C. Winslow to
tank her for selling sale the Winslow
Collection. She is now a very old maid but
of a refined and pleasing nature. The house
is full of colonial furniture and things as she
is a direct descendant of Brown Winslow
who came to America in the Mayflower.
She presents me with a fine topa cloth
made in Oarna, she purchased it in Honu
lulu in 1897 when she returned to visit the
islands. She was born there as Dr. Winslow lived
in Hawaii for about two years.
