"Had lunch at Quiney on Raymond Creek.
Then m to the old Braintree quarry it's
now practically gone, as the old sea way or more
faded in with bay mud to make newly from
ship yard ground of the Bethlehem Steel Co. The
lagoons for which most of the wildlife came are
now beneath the sand.
We then called on Mr. Hayward the son
of the man who used to operate the small
Braintree quarry. He had about 100 pounds
of Paradaxids and I bought $ for 50 cents.
I might be worth while to buy all he has
for #15-- and have them shipped in to sale.
There is nothing striking in the lot but it might
pay to get it done to build up one collection.
On August 18-1920 went back to see if measure, but
all is or from that I did nothing a single thing.
Then to a small encamp on Pearl Street
North Deymouth to see the Lawn Combines,
Lawson farms. One must quarry here to
get them.
