May 17, spent the morning with Lefroy in securing the Lower Steldahy Bealitus. In the afternoon collected around Reservoir hill. Just at the base of the hill along the Sludge cars track. This hazm may be called the Chernmanian horizon. It cannot be much lower than the Tetradian horizon, probably not exceeding 20 feet. Then collected a few bog oysters from a stretch putting in to the south east of the reservoir. May 18 Spent an hour on the river part between the two bridges and found also ostracods. Then collected on Magdushill. The following is a section,
