Camp in core against mainland on W. side of peninsular neck. Peninsula outline given well in others leaf volume, showing plant beds. Pen. made of basalt ore cuts with some interbedded a superimposed ss patches and residues of porosa metamorism.
Section up stream back of camp. Dark sh, Hack,
coal, — on then ss up to 250'.
At 1000'-1175' white ss, emyl. makes notch.
Dark beds with occasional thin ss, and out by sligue dike, including Rink's needle dike, up to
1775'; other lower basalt flows m open occur,
sliptr traces of ferny pinons (Micore seen)
at 1100', but no fossils found.
Hack sh mostly continue to 2075' on up north.
At 3495' m Hack & Telsus - no forms.
At 2625' base of basalt flows which reach to
2970'; Reduse of the Micore gone that makes Knot
