Pen. made of basalt ore cuts with some interbedded a superimposed ss patches and residues of porosa metamorism. Section up stream back of camp. Dark sh, Hack, coal, — on then ss up to 250'. At 1000'-1175' white ss, emyl. makes notch. Dark beds with occasional thin ss, and out by sligue dike, including Rink's needle dike, up to 1775'; other lower basalt flows m open occur, sliptr traces of ferny pinons (Micore seen) at 1100', but no fossils found. Hack sh mostly continue to 2075' on up north. At 3495' m Hack & Telsus - no forms. At 2625' base of basalt flows which reach to 2970'; Reduse of the Micore gone that makes Knot (loc.
