Striped Polecat Family - Genus Species - Serial numbers - (348 - Games, Namagulond, Sept.26,1947) (425 - Series - Oct. 2) This polecat was taken in a trap in town while trying to rob a hen house at night. It was caught in a trap which was baited with meat. They hole up in the day and come out at night to forage for food. Have seen them by the roads at night. Tried to shoot one at night with a shed lamp but he was very wary and retreated rapidly without clobbering back as many animals will do.
