Strata dip 50 [illegible] 25 north In the afternoon returned to the second ravine and of the glacial moraine where are collected, late activity afternoon. Our best plants are from this place. The section is as follows, estimated: Concealed 40 feet. Twenty feet of sandstone and coaly shale are seen at base to the rest of the ravine along the beach. Lands and conglomerate and dark coaly shale and thin coals, top few feet. 20 feet.
