At 2.30 started out to see the Sils formation about one mile south of Kraham. Here along the road can be seen dipping south the follying section. Dip 40° S-E, Section continues. Off set and Red shale out thin beds of whitish ark and sandstone, Baps from. Mud seen on top of field with Alnick sandstone This bedded my in pure material grain calcite cemented by 19 yards. Grasse nodulites + quartz muri, breathing readily to anor 4 coupe q and g yard 30+30=60yard 42 yards across Ammonium limonite and chalk. Considerable 22 yards from han Tipi At the eastern end of this Sils outcrop I saw a mass of partly 1000 pounds which greatly resembled the Orickley limonite. Saw no fruits on it. In the crasse sandstone of the above section I which resembled those seen in the Coymans. Saw similar Alchem segments or for the horizon is indeterminete.
