Received a telegram from Hayes that he
is not ready to go to Rome.
Made inquiries about going to the locality
told me by D. White. I find it will take two
days costing me about 6 to 7 dollars and no
certainty of finding what I came after. Therefore
concluded to go Bluefields Dr. Va where I
am certain of finding the Eile formation as
delineated on the Prochontas Plir map.

Angels Rest. During these earthquakes some bricks
were removed from chimney tips. One of which I looked
at had the bricks removed only from the northeast
side. For prints I can say during one clay latter.
The Jeroker Dennis' only the noise resembled
gating and grinding could be heard among while the
horses and that passed on. The noise was greatest
in stone houses, some of the shocks were severe
and one lasted all the night, the shocks coming
every five minutes.
