(40) In examining stained (hemalun) slide of Electra loaned by G.H. from his Paris collection, I tried to determine attachment of luniculus to digestive tract. It clearly attaches to caecum & stomach & G.H. later indicated that digestive tract is "enmeshed" in luniculus all over. Anus opens within lophophore! This is a poor description of the situation Anus opens into tentacle sheath.
