S.u.f. - more coarsely perforate - pores larger? apert - smaller, sinus smaller, more V'd ovicell smoother, appears less "detached" avic. possibly little larger - mandible more setose but rarer - usually unpaired Multilaminar condition rarer in S.u.ss. if occurs - then at points of "stress" i.e. buckling of colony [see Hoodlepost material] No multiple ovicells seen in s.u.f.
