Sarasota, Friday Jan. 25 - 1935
It did not prove as the weather man said it would. At 8 A.M. in Fort Myers it was 480 F.
Walked around town to see the last of the Royal Palms.
At 11 A.M. packed up and 12 noon we are off en route for Sarasota. Here we arrived at 1.45 P.M.
Put up at the Sarasota Terrace at $2.50 balcony European.
Walked about the streets just at Sarasota and then back to the hotel which is a full mile east of the shore.
The most curious and prettiest hotel here is on the beach - the Granada. It may be the most expensive. Plenty big hotels here. It is getting warmer. The day was fine but somewhat lazy.
