Flagler's\nDream of a sea going railroad to Key West\nmade a reality.\nHENRY M.\nFLAGLER.\nThe Florida East Coast Railway has\nbeen extended to Key West and the\nfirst train to enter the island over a\ncontinuous stretch of steel from the\nnorthern terminus at Jacksonville will\nbe that of the steam locomotive\nHenry M. Flagler Landing Jacksonvillle\nat some today, his private car and\na number of Pullman cars, which\nlarge party of personal friends as his\nway to pull into Key West 205\nmiles south of Jacksonville at 9:20\nthis morning.\nThis train will be followed by the\ncongressional Special, including the\nmembers of Congress from Florida and\nthe committee on Military and Naval\nAffairs, one of the representatives of\nevery foreign nation who has given\ntheir assistance in the laying of the\nrailway. The party will visit the city during\nthe celebration which continues for\nseveral days. The Congressional delega-\ntion will number nearly a hundred.\nMembers of the committee on Military\nand Naval Affairs, including the com-\nmmercial organizations of the nation,\nwill be present.
