Thursday Aug 28-1930. Continued mile S of the Canne camp but failed again, Then tried to collect fossils out of the Richmond crump- led strata of the shale cliffs but for one bone coral, 3 Blac- cuns tails and a few other fossils. All the fossils are of Rich- mmond age and agree with the fossils of the Priest Road and Grand Coulee. Any Cyclinemade bed on the Priests Road appears to dip 40 S-E or N. 30 E. This is near the dip of the same strata into chone.
