Oct. 18-1930 continued. like growth, and to dolomite inclusions to fall down join a different chemical make-up leading to the dia- gnetic changes to dolomite. In other cases the dol. may have formed in pockets in the cauliflower surface. This deformation at the time of the Cambrian then, is therefore made the barrier separating the St. Lawrence fjord-line into two tracts, a new, or Chazy one and an cadmon one known as the Lavin channel. Again I arrive at the same opinion that I have in my paper on Cogenian trde published this year in the Q.S. A. About 2 P.M., it began getting cold, clouds accumulated quickly and soon it rained hard, followed by hail-snow spells. It the clouded over more, was raw and cold. So a fine morning changed into a windy cold rainy afternoon. How- ever we stuck it out in the field until dark. Just before dark we saw the Grinelli dol. re- trussed on the marble grade to Lorn Bedfordman near the Fonda Lime Quarries. Neither shows any disturbance or alteration.
