Monday Dec 26-1927. Nashville
Brother Albert took ore to the Land & R. R.
and at 10.30 A.M. ore are off for Louisville and
then Nashville, Arrived promptly at 5.08 and by 5.30
Incar normal with Engineer Heall of the Coast and
Geodetic Survey, at the Cindra Jackson Hotel.
On the train or rather at the Cincinnati Station
met Doctors Mansfield, Stephenson and Wilson, and
did the form to lunch at round he train. In the
afternoon had a long talk with Stephenson. I now
know about the general arrangements for tomorrow,
Tuesday, Dec 27-1927. Nashville
At 9 A.M. a number of us went out to Frierson
Hall of Vanderbilt University to start the meeting
of Section E of the G.A.A.S. The audience was
very slow in arriving and there was general pandy-
monium refitting the maps and charts being on the
wall, We were to start by 9.30 but it was 10.05
when the first paper began to be presented. However
the State Geologist and myself got through in time, or
by 12.45. Then had lunch at the College Caffe-
teria, and at 2 P.M. we proceeded with the Paleon-
tologists and got through by 5.30 P.M.
In the evening in the Frierson Hall are enjoyed
