Phillipsturg, Quebec
Tuesday, August 30, 1938
Left Levis at 8 A.M. and spent one
hour examining the Levis charts to the S. of
the village. Then the Dillings red beds and
dt he great St. Lawrence Bridge the Lau-
gon.
Then autored until 1 P.M. when we had
lunch at Nicolet. Then on to Amite (in) Montreal and
St. Zambout, Hertville, to Phillipsturg.
Got to Phillipsturg at 6 P.M. Put up
at the House on he main highway
to Dronton and St. Albans. It is the most
fun place I ever was in. They danced
from 9 to 12, and I wrote up about 11.
Thrilling something may with one, when
I found I learned that I was hearing the
regular drumming of the drum of the
Nat time band.
