Port Daniel, Gaspe Peninsula
Saturday August 13-1938.
But of more to write after my chill of last night.
Thick clouds and by 9 A.M. the sun got through.
Visited the north coast of Port Daniel Bay out
to the lighthouse. Collected 2 1/2 at the low,
yielding the machijporc fauna near the base
of the Bouleaux fm. but quite a lot of
machijporcs.
Near the top the Bouleaux fm saw
3 jpn specimen of the "Immonarella". Clouds
coverd over Teller, the one fair specimen showing
the exterior. In these beds got one tivalors
and some kind of a marine plant.
The Lighthouse is on the long point to
West Point Is. Have also seen the Cristatromus
items. Collecting is always unsatisfactory
here.
Had lemon at the Villa Anna.
