Port Daniel, Gaspe Peninsula Saturday August 13-1938. But of more to write after my chill of last night. Thick clouds and by 9 A.M. the sun got through. Visited the north coast of Port Daniel Bay out to the lighthouse. Collected 2 1/2 at the low, yielding the machijporc fauna near the base of the Bouleaux fm. but quite a lot of machijporcs. Near the top the Bouleaux fm saw 3 jpn specimen of the "Immonarella". Clouds coverd over Teller, the one fair specimen showing the exterior. In these beds got one tivalors and some kind of a marine plant. The Lighthouse is on the long point to West Point Is. Have also seen the Cristatromus items. Collecting is always unsatisfactory here. Had lemon at the Villa Anna. In the afternoon collected on the west
