St. Leonard to New Richmond
Thursday August 11 - 1938
Left St. Leonard in a rain and it kept
it up until 2/3 down to Campbeltown where
I had not rained at all. Set to Campbeltown
at 11:30 having come 98 miles. Went on at once
to Dalhousie where we had lunch at the hotel
run by the great paper making company, J.
After lunch went to Stewart Core to collect
the Dalhousie fm and started it to usual
forms. The tide was in and or high we could
not the south end of the section.
Then motored back to Campbeltown and took
at 5 P.M.
to Ferry across the bay to Barker Peninsula, and
then D.E. to New Richmond where we arrived
at 6:45 P.M. Put up at Campstells Inn a
private home.
Motored about 170 miles (100 to Campbeltown,
26 to Stewarts Cove both ways, and 44 to N. Rich-
mund).
Put up at Campstells Tourist Inn.
