Tomorrow growing at 8.10 expect to sit off at Richmond, Virginia. It's a very hot day, and my car is not air conditioned - in consequence an uncom- fortable trip up to Jacksonville. It showered here. Our train at Jacksonville is made in two sections, and Chittenden on one another section. Retired at nine o'clock, and the car is now cooler but still warm.
